Tax Admin

This position is for Eshel, Aminov & Partners LLP New York City office


  • Provides administrative support to our Tax and Accounting Services personnel.

  • Coordinating clients' taxes: handle electronic filing of tax returns, archiving, faxing, scanning, preparing and distributing documents.

  • Process and mail tax organizers and Engagement letters.

  • Maintain client information and documentation database.

  • Communication with Federal and State tax authorities, Receive, respond and keep track of routine correspondence.

  • Demonstrating excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards.

  • Manage electronic client organizers and communicate with clients via email and telephone, to ensure accuracy and completion of file

  • Package tax returns for submission to taxing authorities and clients

  • Provide support for the business and individual tax return compliance process

  • Maintain calendars, identify conflicts and resolve promptly

  • Update/maintain electronic client records as needed

  • Set-up conference calls, including contacting/notifying participants

  • Compose, type and edit correspondence and reports

  • Communicate with IRS and other tax authorities on behalf of clients

  • Demonstrate  proficiency  in  using  company  templates  for  correspondence  and presentations

  • Sort, read, distribute internal and external mail

  • Answer assigned phones, take messages and fulfill requests

  • Assist in prioritization of correspondence and phone messages for Tax Preparers


Job Requirements:


  • Possess at 3 years of experience in the field of, administrative managerial and customer relation in CPA or Tax Consulting firms

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Profound computer knowledge on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Lacerte Tax Software and the internet

  • Self-motivated, Detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills

  • Proactive and initiates projects, accepting of new assignments and challenge

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment
